Summer Tour To Stockholm – 3 Learning Points
Cosmopolitan, trendy and beautiful are the three words that immediately come to mind when I think about Stockholm.
The final leg of the Social Attraction Summer Tour was memorable for lots of reasons and as always there were loads of lessons learnt about how to start a conversation with a girl in a foreign country.
So here are my top three learning points from the Swedish capital.
Summer Tour To Stockholm #1: Don’t Give Up
It can be very easy to stop ourselves from taking action because something happens which is out of our control that suddenly makes it seem a lot more challenging, especially when we are learning how to talk to girls.
For example, we are walking down the street and just about to approach a girl we like when she walks into a shop. What do we do, do we just give up and walk away?
Something I saw time and again over the weekend is that if we have a go anyway in situations like this, it can often result in a better outcome than expected. What have we got to lose?
Summer Tour To Stockholm #2 Walk With Me
Once we have learned how to compliment a girl during the day we’ve found that we can make our interactions even more powerful by suggesting that we walk together with her for a few minutes.
What we found is that this takes a lot of the pressure out of the situation (for us and her) because all of a sudden, rather than talking face to face we are now side by side.
It also provides a feast of conversational material in case we get stuck for something to say. This is especially true if we are in a new city and we can even joke that she is our tour guide for a short time.
Summer Tour To Stockholm #3 Follow The Leader
When we are learning how to get a girl to like you in a foreign city it can be very tempting to allow her to take the lead; after all, she’s the local.
Although it might seem like the easy option at the time, the problem is that we automatically become a follower rather than a leader as a result. We also run the risk that she will take us places which are not necessarily conducive for an enjoyable date.
I discovered that it is much better to do our own research, to be the leader on the date and take her to places we know are going to enable us to have fun together.
