Three Ways To Convey Complete Confidence Using Our Voice

Three Ways To Convey Complete Confidence Using Our Voice

Written by the Social Attraction Team

When we are feeling nervous and unsure about ourselves we tend to talk quicker, pause less and have an upward inflection at the end of our sentences which makes learning how to start a conversation with a girl a lot more difficult.

I have found that talking in a calm and controlled manor shows that we are confident (even if we are not feeling it at the time) which is a big fitness indicator and also helps her to feel safe around us.

In turn, this makes it much more likely that women will engage in conversation after the initial approach and can increase the chances of her being attracted to us during the interaction.

Using Our Voice #1 Speed

We teach on our approach anxiety courses that if we knew for certain that we had her complete attention to say what we wanted, would we rush it out as quickly as possible? Or would we take our time and really enjoy it?

By speaking slowly and with composure, we are conveying complete self-belief and that what we have to say is important.

From my experience when we take our time to really deliver and emphasise every word, she feels compelled to stop and listen.

Using Our Voice #2 Pause

If we are able to respond immediately after she finishes speaking, it’s usually because we have been planning our reply in our head and therefore we haven’t really been listening.  This makes learning how to kiss a girl more difficult if we are not able to relax into a conversation.

A short pause before we start talking is an indication that we are fully engaged and we’re confident enough that we don’t need to prepare what we are going to say next.

We can add further pauses during our dialogue which highlights the key elements and helps us sound even more captivating.

Using Our Voice #3 Intonation

Lifting our vocal tone at the end of a statement can make it sound like we are asking a question and gives the impression that we seeking approval from the other person.

I have noticed that confident people keep their vocal tone flat at the end of a sentence, or even with a slight drop, which is a great way to show that we have conviction.

And if we believe in what we are saying, she is more likely to believe it too, and as a direct result from speaking slower we will learn how to get a girl to like you by being ourselves.
