When I started learning how to attract women under the guidance of Gary Gunn, my first task was to set myself a goal that I wanted to achieve by the end of my training. My personal goal was to be good enough to coach other people and I achieved this within a few days of the target date I set which, quite frankly, blew my mind.
Over the years I’ve read a variety of books about success, with my favourite being biographies from the most successful people who have ever graced the planet. What I have found time and again is that there is one crucial ingredient which is common to them all.
In order to make improvements to our lives, to achieve the things we desire and ultimately become the person we want to be, we must have a clear vision of what we want and a plan of how we are going to make it happen. This applies as much to being successful with women as being successful in any other area of our lives.

We teach on our daygame courses that when we decide on a goal and write it down, we are making a commitment to ourselves that we will do everything in our power to achieve it. It is no longer just a pipe dream or a passing thought; rather it is now something that is tangible and real.
When I wrote my first goal, I found that I instantly had much more belief that it would actually happen. As a result, goal setting has become a necessity in all areas of my life.

We teach on our pua training courses that when we have mini-goals and target dates to complete, suddenly we become a lot more focused. It is much easier to prioritise what we are spending time on in our lives and to stop procrastinating.
Do we really need to stay in bed until midday on Sunday? Do we really need to spend an evening watching trash on TV? And do we really need to spend an hour aimlessly surfing on the internet?
More often than not, by simply having goals we begin to change our daily habits, and as a result our daily achievements.
Why Goal Setting Can Help Us Be More Successful With Women #3: Motivation
There will be times when the going gets tough; we might have a bad night out, our approach anxiety may be out of control and we feel like giving up. Having a goal in place which we look at every day will help remind us of why we are doing this, why it is important to us, and serves to keep us looking forward.
By having a plan we can monitor our progress and also reward ourselves along the way for completing our mini-goals.
The end result is that if we can learn to sit down and write out our goals with a pen and paper, this will set off a natural behaviour change in ourselves which will help us to achieve our goals with our own individual deadlines.
