Why Writing A Journal Is The Secret To Success With Women
When I first started learning how to attract women, it was suggested to me by Gary Gunn to keep a daily journal. At first I was a little sceptical, thinking that keeping a diary is something that 16 year old girls do, not something that 30 something year old men do!
However after some initial research, I discovered that some of the most successful and influential men in history like Thomas Jefferson, Charles Darwin and Winston Churchill all kept a journal… I was sold and decided to give it a go.
I soon discovered that keeping a daily journal had a number of immediate and significant benefits, so here are my top three reasons why I write in my journal every single day.
Why Writing A Journal Is the Secret To Success With Women #1: It Takes The Pressure Off
Have you ever felt better about a problem after you’ve talked about it with a close friend?
We teach on our dating coach courses that just by getting concerns off our chest can help to take the pressure off and we are able to look at the problem or challenge more objectively. Keeping a journal works in the same way, but because it is private we can be a lot more open and expressive about how we feel.
By relieving worries, stress and anxiety from our everyday lives, it helps us to remain more present, calm and relaxed so when we see an attractive lady we are far more likely to engage her in conversation.
Why Writing A Journal Is The Secret to Success With Women #2: Improved Learning
Journals are also a great way of reflecting on our experiences and to think about how we might improve on them the next time.
We teach on our daygame courses that if we were conversing with a girl in a supermarket but walked away and forgot to ask for her number, we could write about how when the next situation arises exactly how we would take the interaction further and indeed organise a date.
By giving ourselves time to think and going through the process of putting pen to paper, when a similar opportunity arises in the future we’ll know exactly what to do in that moment and are far more likely to make it happen.
Why Writing A Journal Is The Secret to Success With Women #3: Self Esteem And Confidence
Whenever I write my journal, I always try to keep it positive. I do this by listing successes, achievements and key learning points from the last 24 hours.
We teach on our pick up artist courses that it can be easy to forget about some of these moments in the midst of our busy lives or discount them as not being important, but when we see them all together it is fantastic boost for our self-esteem and confidence.
A success could be as simple as getting up early to go to the gym before work or not eating the doughnut we were offered at lunchtime, they all count. Writing my journal is the last thing I do before I go to sleep which is a great way to end my day in a self reflective manner.
