How To Approach Women On the Dance Floor
Approaching women on the dance floor can be an intimidating, daunting and overwhelming prospect. Normally it’s dark, the music is loud and there are lots of people everywhere. Girls are often dancing together in groups and it can be difficult to get eye contact, let alone start a conversation.
What is interesting is that when I first started learning how to attract women this was a huge sticking point for me. Over time (and with a lot of acquired experience), I have discovered a few simple steps we can take which will make approaching women on the dance floor a whole lot easier.
How To Approach Women On the Dance Floor #1: The Smart Hello
If we see someone we know on the dance floor, do we have any problem approaching and engaging with them? Of course not!
There are always quiet locations at clubs where it is easier to approach women and have a conversation with them; while queuing up at the entrance, in the smoking area or near the bar for example.
On our pua training courses we explain that if we can speak to women before they are on the dance-floor and spark some attraction, it makes approaching them later when they are dancing far simpler.
How To Approach Women On the Dance Floor #2: Follow The Leader
When we are learning how to attract women many of us make it hard for ourselves by approaching women who are already on the dance floor. An easier approach is to get speaking with them somewhere else in the club and then move onto the dance-floor together.
When we are talking to women in quieter parts of the club, I have found time again that moving women onto the dance floor can be relatively easy, just by saying something simple like:
“I love this song, let’s go and dance”
It really is that easy; if we can say it with enough confidence and conviction I have found that this has sparked a lot of fun, intrigue and excitement.
How To Approach Women On the Dance Floor #3: Keep Calm And Have Fun
Who are the people that we find the most approachable on the dance-floor? The ones who look very stiff, serious and self-conscious or the people who are smiling, full of energy and just don’t care?
If we can have fun on the dance-floor, get into the music, and generally look like we are enjoying ourselves we will stand out for the right reasons and women will naturally be drawn to us.
I have found that this can be anything from mimicking a girl’s dancing in a funny way, creating our own stupid dance moves and even all the way through to instigating dance offs! The aim is always to create a fun, light hearted and pleasurable vibe. Time and again if we can get girls to approach us on the dance-floor it completely eliminates our approach anxiety once and for all.
