How To Meet Women By Ourselves
Having a great coach or wing man by our side during the daytime is hugely beneficial to keep us motivated, out of our heads and give us that gentle nudge of encouragement.
But there will inevitably be times when we are by out by ourselves and see women that we want to converse with, and this can sometimes feel daunting. Especially when we are trying to learn how to compliment a girl.
I have personally developed the following three steps which makes meeting women on our own an absolute pleasure.
Meet Women By Ourselves #1: The Warm Up
When we are learning how to talk to girls we can make things a whole lot easier by starting off with some quick and easy interactions and then building up gradually, one at a time.
For example we could start by asking a few people (men or women) for directions, going into a couple of shops and speaking to shop assistants or by having a chat with the person serving our coffee.
If we can warm up in this way as soon as we leave the house, we feel much more confident to approach a girl we like when the opportunity arises. It also helps to diminish our approach anxiety when we are feeling a little concerned about starting new conversations with women.
Meet Women By Ourselves #2: Take the Pressure Off
When we are on our own it can be easy to become overwhelmed because we are thinking too much, and this makes learning how to get a girl to like you a lot more difficult.
We can distract our mind very simply by having something else to focus on. It could be to look for a new pair of jeans, buy our mum a birthday card or to go and visit the new art exhibition.
Put simply, by not having meeting women as our sole intention of being out it not only takes the pressure off but also makes the process feel more natural and serendipitous.
Meet Women By Ourselves #3: Focus On The Positives
I have noticed that many people are very self-critical after an interaction, even if it has gone well, which makes us feel bad and less likely to take action next time.
To stop this happening, we can instead ask ourselves the following two questions (only).
What did I do well?
What would I add or do differently next time?
These questions help us to focus on the positives of the interaction no matter what happened. But then it’s vital to move on, put the interaction behind us and stay in the present moment. As we advance through to learning how to kiss a girl this self analysis strategy has proven to be extremely powerful.
